Produced for Graphic Programs, the trick in this commercial were the effects shots where the car drives through the wall. This was achieved on HAL using nothing more sophisticated than frame by frame painting to restore the car rolling forward onto the wall scene. With the addition of the sparkles and flares around the edges as the car emerges, this main scene, lasting only a little over three seconds took around 12 hours to complete!
