Senna in his 1990 McLaren-Honda MP4/5B

Ayrton Senna has undoubtably gone down in the annals of motor racing history as one of the greatest drivers of all time. He is seen here in his McLaren on his way to his second of three World Drivers Championships (1988 see Ayrton's helmet, 1990 and 1991). Love him or hate him - you have to admit - he was good!

On the 1st of May, 1994, Senna's life came to a tragically abrupt end. While driving his Williams-Renault at the San Marino Grand Prix, a failed suspension component left him a passenger in a sickening high speed crash at the Tamburello...
