In 1996 Michael Schumacher took up his seat in the Ferrari Formula 1 team alongside Eddie Irvine. Having won two World Drivers Championships for Bennetton in 1994 and 1995, he went on to give Ferrari their first Drivers Championship since Jodi Scheckter won it in 1979, and looks on track to do it again this year! 
I painted the '97 car for the cover of C.A.R. Productions Show Reel. It was red, it was fast and I just liked it! I dramatically changed the background to enhance the feeling of speed, and positioned the car so that when the Show Reel cover was closed, Michael's helmet would be visible on the spine. I also left room for the company logo and video title above and below the car.
